I found out about this movie much too late to back their crowdfunding campaign, but even then I was intrigued.
I found The Wave Set on social media & reached out to them wondering when the film would be released.
Life with transplant is challenging no matter how much someone tries to prepare themselves for it.
I’m a little over 4 months post transplant now, & while I am definitely doing well (knock wood) not every day is as easy at it may appear.
I know I haven’t been updating much, but I’ve been making the rounds with my local doctors after I got back home from Philadelphia & also doing a few more tests.
I promised I would keep politics out of my blog.
I’ll hold to that outside of commenting on recent events about a “witty” sound byte made by a public official about healthcare.
To me, it’s been a nonpartisan issue for years. I can’t keep my mouth shut any longer.

Yesterday I had a check-up with my nurse practitioner & doctor. I’m doing so well I won’t need a bronchoscopy (it’s a procedure where they go into your lungs & check for potential rejection/infections/other problems) for another 3 weeks or so.
