I found this press release & had mixed feelings.
I’m proud of my center for this accomplishment & know it means I’m close, but this kicks up a lot of emotion for me & people I know.
I know they are considered a high volume center but until very recently, it didn’t have the feel of one. Now, every so often I do feel those growing pains, they hurt like hell.
Still, regardless, I think this a remarkable accomplishment of note & ultimately proud of the program & all they have done (& continue to do) for lung transplant patients.
