This innovative program by UCLA is a step in the right direction for organs that can be donated through a living donor.
I think this could potentially shorten wait times for some if they can be matched with someone they know or a family member.
It certainly won’t take care of everyone, but anyone it will take care of will be a start. I think it’s a great program to pilot.
