It’s been a moment since I’ve done a review. This is partially due to not receiving some of the things I’ve backed just yet.
Still, I came across something fascinating & that I was lucky enough to receive a discount on the package in exchange for doing some user testing & exchanging feedback. I was so happy I did.
Before I knew about the Transplant Hero App & PillSuite, & while I’m waiting for Dr. Poket, I found the Tricella smart pillbox. When it came to me I decided it was too small for me to use every day. I figured it still might work for travel or just for my vitamins alone. So I decided to try it out.
I had always wanted to try PillPack, but wasn’t sure that my insurance would allow me to use them. They say they accept Aetna, but then I also have to wait in the mail for my meds to arrive, which I’m not always willing to do if I’m running low or they’re expensive.
I think I found a do-it-yourself alternative that I like. Even though it takes a little time to use, it’s actually not that bad.

I found a great free app I’m hoping to try out after my next appointment. If not then, I know I will definitely use it post-transplant.
I thought it would be great to pass this information along to others who have trouble managing their transplant medications or haven’t found a medication management app that they like yet.
